It is perhaps not the first thing you think about by a vacation in Poland, even so here can you enjoy a fantastic winter sports. In Lower Silesia are many possibilities. This province lies in the south west of Poland and is one of the provinces which has developed the quickest. Every year more tourists come to this region. The province has many (big) ski resorts and also from Palac Jugowice you can stand on your skis or snowboard within 15 minutes. The closest ski lift is that of Rzeczka , this is one of the smaller resorts of Lower Silesia. The resort is joined with the Sokola pass (Przelecz Sokola). The pass is 754 meters high and there are different slopes. From Palac Jugowice is Bartek the easiest to reach. The length of this slope is 450 meters and the height is 120 meters, the colour of the slope is red. You can easily park your car here. Upon request you can take lessons and you can also hire gear.
Apart from Rzeczka there are still more interesting ski resorts to be found in Lower Silesia. These are situated a little further from the hotel but are in general still good to reach. In Karkonosze for example. Where approximately 30 kilometers of ski slopes and 100 kilometers of cross-country skiing is. The largest ski resort in the region is Karpacz, with different lifts and slopes and excellent tourist infrastructure. Also in Zieleniec is a beautiful ski resort. The situation of the area guarantees the whole season enough snow. Zieleniec is also the best place for lovers of evening skiing, many of the slopes are namely lighted.
